Harmony Hill School provides clinically informed specialized programming and services to individuals with social, emotional, behavioral and learning needs in safe campus and community environments.  Professional staff builds on identified strengths, offering individuals and families the opportunity to realize their potential by validating experiences and facilitating healing. Core Values   We believe: Children, adolescents and families deserve the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe, respectful environment; All members of the treatment team, including the child/adolescent, family, professional staff and outside parties, learn from each other through collaborative partnerships.

Since 1976, Harmony Hill School, Inc. has been providing high-quality treatment and education to children, adolescents and their families in safe, predictable environments.  Continually evolving to follow evidence-based practices and to meet individual and community needs, we remain committed to our mission to serve individuals with social, emotional, behavioral and learning challenges.  Failure is not an option: attention, support, coaching and specific individualized intervention from clinicians, teachers and milieu staff help our clients reach their goals throughout all disciplines.

Accreditation

Nationally accredited by the Council on

Accreditation (COA) since 2001, our consumers

organizational practices.

Licensing

RI Department for Children, Youth and Families

(DCYF) licenses our residential programs, and

we hold a Private and Special Education license

from the RI Department of Elementary and

Secondary Education for grades K – 12.

Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Facility with Optum Behavior Health

for those insured through RI

Medicaid. 

This new program and unit called ”The Broncos”

wil provide substance use disorder services to

youth with a supportive, therapeutic, and

educational setting grounded in Harmony Hill

School’s trauma-informed treatment model.

Licensed by (BHDDH), the Department of

Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities

and Hospitals, Harmony Hill School is currently

credentialed as a Dual Diagnosis Mental Health

& Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility

with Optum Behavior Health for those

insured through RI Medicaid.
